Amazon India and Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME) Partner to Empower Rural Women Entrepreneurs
Amazon India has recently joined hands with the Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME) to boost rural women entrepreneurship in India. This collaboration aims to empower approximately 25,000 women entrepreneurs and artisans by providing them with essential support and resources to succeed in the digital realm. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed under Amazon's Saheli programme will focus on promoting local products made by women entrepreneurs in India. Through this initiative, Amazon India will offer workshops, training sessions, onboarding assistance, and ongoing support for these women entrepreneurs without any financial investment. They will receive training on digital marketing strategies, performance marketing, product listing optimization, advertising techniques, as well as data-driven insights to understand customer behavior and market trends. By doing so, Amazon India aims to equip these women with the necessary tools to thrive in the digital marketplace.
